ABOUT KIL.N.IT ARTIST STUDIOS
Situated over two campuses in Glebe NSW on Gadigal land, kil.n.it provides a hub for experimental ceramic artists to grow and share their practice within the City of Sydney and beyond.
We are a not-for-profit space providing artist studios and members’ services including firings and workshop hire. We are always looking to improve and be at the forefront of ceramic practice in terms of health and safety while encouraging experimentation.
kil.n.it experimental ceramics studio adheres to culturally sensitive practices and is a safe space.
kil.n.it has been made possible through the City of Sydney Creative Spaces and Supported Accommodation Grant.
The spaces are approximately 2.6m x 1.6m in size and are a shared space
The Studios are $250 per month.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to submit an Artist Studio Expression of Interest:
- ceramics must be at the centre of your artistic practice
- you must be 18-years or older.
We encourage applications from:
- First Nations artists
- people from CALD backgrounds.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Expressions of interest are assessed on:
- Evidence of ongoing ceramics practice
- Evidence of the value of the studio space and facilities to the development of your ceramics practice
- Current /future projects or exhibitions that you are working towards.
