A warm brown clay. Suitable for a range of throwing and handbuilding applications. Firing grey with speckles in oxidation to grey with heavy iron flecks and spots in reduction. Produces warm and varied surfaces.
Note: Ilmenite magnifies the iron specking by the application of glaze as it bleeds through, intensified by a reducing atmosphere.
